I am Luca Ferreira, digital product designer, and I finish my diploma in communication design with a minor in product design this month.
I combine UX research, product strategy and UX/UI design to build solutions that meet user needs and deliver measurable results for companies. I firmly believe that good design is crucial for business success.

Why AI has been on my mind for a long time
I was working with AI back when it was not yet a mass phenomenon. Before ChatGPT was released, I designed StoaAI (a speculative
AI application). Even then my view was: this will not just be another tool, but a technology that will fundamentally change
how we work, live and interact with technology.
How I actually use AI
For my diploma Shaping Thought I built my design
from Figma with an MCP connection entirely with Claude Code
and Codex and shipped it as a finished product.
At stu I use AI to turn ideas into a
prototype in no time and test them with real users right away.
Iteration cycles that used to take days now take hours.
And at the same time I do not want to automate everything blindly just because it is possible.
Real understanding & good design decisions often only come from direct contact with people and their experiences with the product.
Using AI in digital products
Technology is not an end in itself for me. For me the person and the product are always at the center. That is why designers should really
understand and master AI, so they can use it where it makes the product
better and creates real value.
